As a mother of young boys who are easily caught up in boy-world, I also made an explicit effort to show girls doing things they love. Just to name a few, the astronaut alligator, professor panther, and the train-testing tiger are all awesome girls.

Learning Made Simple
Finally, because I’m using these cards to teach my own kids, I integrated educational tricks to make learning easier. For example, "Peas" are featured in the letter "P" card, and "Mountains" are featured in the "M" card because the letter looks like mountains... and of course, the “S” card features a snake in the shape of an “S.”
